Administrative Associate II (S)
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the office coordinator for the Diagnostic Services Branch, providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the branch.
Responsibilities- Perform general office duties, including preparing, typing, and proofreading reports submitted to sentencing courts and other correspondence.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for trainings, meetings, and audits conducted by Diagnostic Specialists.
- Collect and maintain data; manage and organize electronic files within the I-drive.
- Operate standard office equipment and handle telephone calls, taking accurate messages and directing calls appropriately.
- Provide additional administrative support to the Diagnostic Services Branch as needed.
- Proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and typographical errors to ensure a high level of quality and professionalism.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization while managing multiple assignments and meeting established deadlines.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate and one year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Documented experience with verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and exceptional customer service.
- Advanced computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other standard business software applications.
- Advanced word processing skills for preparing, editing, formatting, and producing a variety of correspondence, reports, and forms.
The salary range for this position is $31,200.00 - $51,249.00. Employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance options, standard and supplemental retirement plans, the NCFlex program, paid vacation, sick leave, community service leave, and paid parental leave, among others.
