Coordinator 7 This position is responsible for maintaining, overseeing, and operating the Pearson Vue and High School Equivalency Center for the Beltline Education Center.

Responsibilities and Duties (* Essential Functions)
* Serves as Site Manager for Pearson Vue and the lead test administrator for the center
- * Supervises full time and part time Test Administrators and Testing and Assessment Specialists to include, hiring, onboarding, performance management, developing and delivering training, approving timesheets, and scheduling
* Plans and coordinates testing administration for paper and computer exams including the preparation of materials and seating charts, reviewing rosters, and leading of test administrators
* Collaborates with other departments to offer additional certification exams based on the needs of the college and trains Testing Administrators as needed
* Coordinates and schedules testing at multiple prison and jail facilities including high school equivalency testing, PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) training, registering testers, and attending weekly meetings
* Plans, coordinates, and executes bi-annual ceremonies for High School Equivalency, Adult High School, and HEP graduates which includes internal and outside vendor collaboration, ceremony invitations, identifying speakers, floor plan and logistics, and marketing
- * Maintains a secure system for receiving, inventorying, storing, and returning tests for all program assessments to include shipping materials within 24 hours Identifies and resolves technical issues with Wake Tech IT and Test Vendor IT including investigating and reporting problems with the center's computers and printers and maintaining and updating testing software Collaborates with prison and jail officials to certify testing rooms per NCCCS and test vendor standards, completes Emergency Plan and Secure Storage Plan for each site and submits to NCCCS for approval Provides information to students regarding IT certifications and HSE Equivalency Exams for CCR programs Updates and maintains center directions, location, test center regulations and hours of operation, on the Pearson Vue and testing center website.
Communicates essential information to test administrators in a timely manner Drafts and oversees case reports in Service Direct when technical issues arise, candidate express concerns, and testing irregularities occur Coordinates the ordering, delivery, and maintenance of supplies to the Testing Center including maintaining testing materials Compiles, verifies, and communicates high school graduation completers to internal stakeholders on a weekly basis to ensure CCR receives funding for its achievement Processes testing registration paperwork for center visitors including assistive personnel hired to aid students with approved accommodation testing Coordinates and schedules accommodation testing with Pearson Vue, GED, and HiSET disabilities departments Maintains annual certifications and monitors the certification deadline for the team for Pearson VUE, HiSET, TABE, and other tests offered at the center Provides drop/release paperwork, processes and approves accounts, and stores paperwork for underage students for the entire CCR program Disseminates diploma and transcript retrieval guidance to new HSE graduates and fields archived HSE transcript requests Completes an annual applied benchmark project on an individual or group basis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Intermediate skills in MS Word, Power point, and Excel Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced office environment Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, faculty, and students, and exhibit a high degree of integrity Ability to complete training (Pearson Vue,HiSET, TASC, TABE) and maintain certifications needed for test proctors Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, education, or related field Three years of experience in Adult Basic Education, College & Career Readiness, or standardized testing administration Two years supervisory experience
