Authorization/Scheduling Specialist – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location

We're seeking a detail-oriented Authorization/Scheduling Specialist to support our therapy services team. This role focuses on obtaining therapy authorizations, coordinating schedules, verifying insurance, and providing excellent patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain authorizations and referrals for physical therapy services
• Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate patient information
• Manage Workers' Compensation authorizations and visits
• Assist with new patient scheduling, including phone calls, faxes, voicemails and walk-ins
• Monitor and maintain accurate therapy schedules and new patient availability
• Coordinate authorization information with scheduling and clinical teams
• Complete patient registration and required eligibility forms
• Greet and assist patients and visitors and provide directions as needed
• Provide backup support for Patient Service Representative (PSR) duties
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned
