Administrative Associate II (S)

The North Carolina Department of Revenue is accepting applications for an Administrative Associate II to work in the Central Examination Division. This position assists and supports the work of the Assistant Director, managers, supervisors, and fellow employees assigned to this unit. The Administrative Associate ensures operations are conducted in the most effective, efficient, and professional manner possible in order to attain the highest degree of compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collect, enter and maintain data in various databases
  • Generate reports
  • Accumulate files and maintains a variety of records and reports
  • Provide support and preventive maintenance for office equipment and other activities as needed
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail

  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • Demonstrated experience with basic data entry
  • Demonstrated experience using basic spreadsheet, word processing, database software, and email
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and resources in a busy office environment

Recruitment Range: $31,200 - $51,249
