You play a vital role in shaping the student experience from the very first interaction. As an Enrollment Specialist
, you guide prospective students through the admissions process with empathy and efficiency.
You serve as the primary guide for applicants, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth transition into our academic programs. Your daily efforts directly impact student success and help our institution grow.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Delivers exceptional customer service to prospective students via phone, email, and in-person channels.
- Performs accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date applicant files and institutional records.
- Navigates
CRM software and student information systems to track applicant progress and manage communication pipelines. - Provides comprehensive administrative assistance to support the admissions team and daily office operations.
- Maintains meticulous record keeping standards to ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Practices strong time management to balance high-volume tasks and meet strict enrollment deadlines.
- Applies effective conflict resolution strategies to address applicant concerns and turn challenges into positive outcomes.
- Utilizes
Microsoft Office applications to generate reports, draft correspondence, and organize key enrollment data.
- Holds a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prefers an associate degree or higher in business, communications, or a related field.
- Brings at least two years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or enrollment setting.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of managing high-volume data entry and record keeping
.
- Possesses advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern CRM software
. - Communicates clearly and professionally, utilizing excellent phone etiquette
. - Exhibits strong time management and organizational habits.
- Navigates complex student information systems with ease and accuracy.
- Experience working in higher education admissions or student services.
- Familiarity with specific institutional student information systems currently in the market.
- Operates in a standard office environment utilizing computers and office equipment for extended periods.
- Communicates frequently through telephone and virtual meeting platforms.
- Lifts office supplies and document boxes weighing up to twenty pounds as needed.
