As part of our USCIS contract, we are hiring Scheduling Coordinators to ensure interpreters and translators are assigned efficiently and service requests are fulfilled on time.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily scheduling of OPI, VRI, ASL, and document translation assignments.
  • Confirm interpreter availability and fill requests within USCIS timelines (72-hour confirmation rule).
  • Handle urgent/surge requests and coordinate activation of the 200+ linguist surge pool.
  • Maintain interpreter schedules and update availability in the scheduling system.
  • Track assignments for reporting, billing, and compliance.
  • Communicate with linguists, project managers, and CORs to ensure real-time coverage.
  • Monitor cancellations, no-shows, and SLA performance for quality control.
  • Provide after-hours coverage on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of scheduling, dispatching, or operations coordination experience (language services or government contract a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, Excel, and secure platforms.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and able to pass a Tier 3/Tier 5 background investigation.
