Overview
FMI’s Strategy Practice is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Analyst to join its growing team. FMI’s Strategy Practice focuses on strategic planning, business development, and go-to-market strategy development. We provide industry-best market research that delivers relevant market intelligence to help our clients find growth opportunities, gain insights, and understand the trends that are shaping and influencing our industry.
This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity that is based out of our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina or Houston, Texas. This role is intended for students graduating May 2026 who will be available to start in late summer/early fall 2026.
Responsibilities- Work effectively with people at all levels across in a client organization, including senior‑level executives
- Meet demanding client deadlines while supporting engagements with multiple clients simultaneously
- Develop contacts lists in spreadsheet format, reaching out to contacts via email and cold calling to set up field and telephone interviews, engaging contacts in discussion to reveal key insights
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market and company data into valuable insights
- Synthesize findings into well‑written and visually compelling summary reports and presentations
- Utilize your problem‑solving skillset to address key business challenges
- Present findings and recommendations during client debrief
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- 1+ years of professional work experience conducting, analyzing, and documenting market research
- Ability to thrive with minimal direction and supervision in an ambiguous work environment
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
- Proficiency with MS Office:
