Responsibilities
- Own resourcing decisions and workforce planning strategies for assigned clinical programs and portfolios
- Partner with Clinical Operations leadership to proactively identify staffing needs and develop resource solutions
- Balance competing resource demands while ensuring business priorities and study timelines are met
- Lead prioritization discussions when resource demand exceeds available capacity
- Manage complex resourcing escalations and workforce planning challenges
- Interpret forecasting data and translate demand signals into actionable workforce plans
- Monitor utilization trends, forecast variance, assignment accuracy, and resource availability
- Identify hidden capacity and staffing opportunities across portfolios
- Utilize Power BI dashboards and workforce planning tools to analyze:
Resource utilization, Capacity planning, Forecast variance, Assignment discrepancies, Hiring demand signals, Workforce trends - Facilitate resource planning discussions with senior business and operational leaders
- Significant experience within a CRO environment is required
- Prior experience in Clinical Resourcing, Workforce Planning, Clinical Operations, Clinical Research Operations, or Resource Management
- Direct experience owning resourcing decisions and workforce allocation activities
- Experience balancing competing resource demands across multiple projects, programs, or portfolios
- Experience utilizing workforce planning data to support business decisions
- Experience working with forecasting models and resource planning systems
- Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive decision-making
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
