Faculty Success Program Specialist

The University Program Specialist plays a key role in advancing faculty success and supporting strategic priorities within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). Serving as a central resource for faculty promotion, tenure, post-tenure review, endowed professorships, and recognition programs, this position ensures processes are coordinated, communicated, and executed effectively across the College's academic departments.

In this role, you will partner with the Senior Associate Dean, Dean's Office leadership, Human Resources, department leaders, faculty, and staff to manage complex academic processes, facilitate collaboration, and support initiatives that recognize achievement and strengthen the CALS community. You will bring organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate timelines, evaluate materials, prepare reports, and support events and projects that have a direct impact on faculty and staff success.

Minimum Experience/Education
- Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Commitment to providing responsive, professional, and customer-focused support while building positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and stakeholders. Proficiency with business technology tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, calendaring systems, email platforms, website administration tools, faculty excellence portal and enterprise systems such as People Soft HR and People Soft Financials. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and professional correspondence and materials.

Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage confidential information, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet established deadlines. Knowledge of organizational structures, processes, and relationships, with the ability to interpret information, identify needs, and provide informed recommendations.
