- Develop and implement process improvement strategies and policies for the Office of Continuous Improvement and Division of Water Infrastructure
- Assist in improving and developing policies and procedures, including document and data management policies
- Ensure collaboration when developing and implementing new process improvement strategies
- Facilitate smooth transitions in program operations
- Review programs in the Division of Water Infrastructure to evaluate service efficiency and effectiveness
- Review and evaluate documentation, deliverables, state and federal law requirements, and data management tracking needs
- Determine consistency and process reengineering requirements
- Interact and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, local units of government, consultants, and State agency representatives
- Serve as the Division’s record retention officer
- Ensure physical and digital records are stored efficiently, protected securely, and disposed of legally
- Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and processes
- Collaborate with IT teams for EBS and Laser Fiche to ensure secure storage systems, functioning backups, and correctly programmed automated deletion schedules
- Conduct compliance audits
- Develop and train staff and provide Division support as an internal consultant on operational data management
- Identify inefficiencies and develop standard operating procedures or update policies to implement process improvement
- Master's degree in agricultural, biological, engineering, environmental, or natural resource sciences, or a closely related curriculum, from an appropriately accredited institution
- Three years of experience related to the area of assignment
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify
- Valid driver's license required
- Knowledge of process improvement, data strategy, compliance, grants management, engineering, document management, and data management
- Ability to evaluate documentation, deliverables, legal requirements, and data tracking needs
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to develop policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to conduct compliance audits
- Ability to work with EBS and Laser Fiche systems
Demonstrates expertise in process improvement strategies, data management, and compliance auditing within the Division of Water Infrastructure. Proficient in developing policies and procedures while ensuring collaboration with stakeholders and effective program operations.
