itD is seeking a Program Manager to lead and complete large-scale, cross-functional privacy and data governance initiatives supporting program execution, compliance, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in privacy programs, data governance, legal operations, and cross-functional project management, with a track record of coordinating complex work streams, improving processes, and driving initiatives to completion.

Hybrid – Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC Duration: 4 months

Responsibilities:
- Lead and complete large-scale, client-driven privacy, data governance, and program initiatives involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and status reporting to ensure initiatives remain on track and achieve established objectives.
- Partner with Legal, Privacy, Product, and other corporate functions to identify requirements, coordinate activities, resolve issues, and drive execution.
- Facilitate meetings and working sessions by establishing clear objectives and agendas, guiding discussions, documenting decisions and action items, and ensuring timely follow-through.
- Develop, design, and implement improved business processes, workflows, governance practices, and operational solutions to increase efficiency and support program requirements.
- Support privacy programs and certifications by coordinating regulatory, compliance, and data governance activities and translating requirements into actionable business initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, financial status reporting, presentations, process documentation, and other program materials while communicating project status, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, legal operations, privacy programs, data governance, or closely related areas.
- Experience managing multiple projects or work streams involving cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to establish timelines, track dependencies, identify risks, and drive follow-through.
- Experience working effectively with Legal, Privacy, Product, or other corporate functions.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and working sessions, establish objectives and agendas, guide discussions, document decisions and action items, and drive stakeholder follow-up.
- Experience identifying and implementing opportunities to improve processes, workflows, governance, and operational effectiveness.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, risks, requirements, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and effectively navigate ambiguity.
- Experience developing project plans, status reports, presentations, process documentation, and other program management materials.
- Ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
Preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience supporting a corporate privacy, data governance, compliance, legal operations, or risk management program.
- Experience coordinating initiatives involving multiple Legal, Privacy, Product, or business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection frameworks and regulations.
- Experience supporting privacy-related regulatory or certification initiatives and translating requirements into coordinated business activities.
- Familiarity with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), Global/Asia-Pacific CBPR systems, and related accountability or cross-border data transfer programs.
- Familiarity with adjacent privacy, security, assurance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience establishing governance, clarifying ownership, improving processes, and increasing operational efficiency.
- Experience supporting budgeting and financial status reporting for projects or programs.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
