Step into a high-impact Global Product Manager role within our Life Sciences Technologies division, where you will own and accelerate a global portfolio of lab products—shaping how they compete, win, and grow across life science and research markets at Ingersoll Rand.
You will lead end-to-end portfolio strategy, from positioning and go-to-market execution to lifecycle management and EBITDA performance, partnering cross-functionally across global teams to ensure the right products, at the right price, with the right message reach customers, OEMs, and distribution partners. In this role, you will translate complex technical, market, and commercial insights into clear, actionable strategies for executive leadership and cross-functional teams—driving alignment, clarity, and confident decision-making across the business.
You will build and maintain strong relationships across engineering, operations, sales, distribution partners, and key customers, ensuring deep market connectivity and execution success. A strong analytical mindset is essential, using market, customer, and performance data to guide portfolio decisions and shape profitable growth strategies.
This is more than a marketing role—it is a launchpad for future leadership, designed to develop the next generation of General Managers through real ownership, visibility, and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities- Owns Product Line Performance (Revenue, Margin & EBITDA):
Acts as the end-to-end owner of assigned product lines, driving cross-functional alignment to deliver revenue growth, margin expansion, and EBITDA performance through pricing, cost optimization, and commercial execution. - Defines & Executes Product Portfolio Strategy:
Develops and maintains the long-term strategic roadmap for the portfolio, including product lifecycle direction, new product introduction strategy, enhancements to existing products, and end-of-life planning. - Drives Voice of Customer (VOC) & Market Intelligence:
Leads VOC initiatives and continuously gathers market intelligence through customers, end-users, and distribution partners to shape product strategy, marketing direction, and commercial decisions. - Owns Competitive & Market Positioning Insight:
Monitors competitive landscape, pricing trends, and emerging technologies to ensure portfolio competitiveness and to inform strategic product, pricing, and positioning decisions. - Translates Market Needs into Product Requirements:
Defines market-based product specifications and requirements for new product development, ensuring alignment between customer needs, engineering feasibility, and business objectives. - Leads New Product Development & Business Case Creation:
Develops business cases for new products and strategic initiatives, including financial justification, market opportunity, and strategic alignment, and presents recommendations to leadership. - Drives Cross-Functional Execution of Product Strategy:
