Key Responsibilities Program Operations & Event Coordination- Direct the planning of all ALDP program activities, including seven three-day statewide sessions, distance learning intersessions, domestic and international study tours, and Washington, D.C. policy visits.
- Coordinate all travel and event logistics by negotiating and managing vendor contracts, securing lodging, transportation, catering, and meeting facilities, and overseeing travel authorizations and reimbursement processes.
- Coordinate and assist with the participant recruitment and selection process by managing applications, scheduling virtual and in-person interviews, and communicating with applicants throughout the selection process.
- Support alumni engagement by planning alumni dinners, networking events, major alumni gatherings, and international alumni study tours while facilitating program evaluations and preparing impact reports.
- Develop and manage program communications, including website content, Facebook and Instagram updates, participant correspondence, meeting agendas, travel itineraries, and other program materials that promote engagement and increase program visibility.
- Manage the program’s financial operations by preparing, reviewing, and processing purchasing, travel, reimbursement, and payment transactions while ensuring compliance with University accounting policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain digital workflows using Google Workspace tools and application portals, manage the alumni database, analyze program data to support long-term planning, and maintain current knowledge of University, state, and foundation financial policies.
- Other duties as needed.
