Job Description
This is a part-time, weekday-only, year-round position in which counselors will provide support for school-aged participants in a recreational setting. Counselors will oversee groups during passive/active games, assisting with homework while also implementing the curriculum-based activities that are set by their supervisors. Our curriculum includes, but is not limited to:

• Arts/Crafts
• Food Experiences
• Dance/Drama/Movement
• Clinics
• Science/Nature

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude
• Provides direction and motivation for participants in the program.
• Leads and participates in all activities with the participants.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
• Monitor participants for safety and address behavior concerns when necessary.
• Document and/or relay accident/incident information to the appropriate staff
• Modify activities as needed or provide reasonable accommodation for participation.
• Attend and participate in all required training sessions, staff meetings, and parent engagements.

Medium Work:

Visual Acuity:

The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, general laborer, etc.).
