RRE is a reputable general contractor focused on high-quality residential and commercial repair and restoration. We’re seeking a self-motivated, energetic Assistant Project Manager who is eager to grow with our team and support projects from estimating through closeout. This role blends office and field work and offers career development for the right candidate.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Raleigh, NC, for an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Estimate small- to medium-sized projects (corrective construction, roofing, drainage, concrete, masonry, etc.).
  • Support Project Managers with bid preparation, subcontractor solicitation, and pricing analysis.
  • Perform material take-offs, assist with procurement, and coordinate staging/deliveries.
  • Create and maintain preliminary project schedules and status reports.
  • Coordinate with field technicians, subcontractors, and operations to monitor quality and schedule.
  • Serve as a customer point of contact for project status, questions, and issue resolution.
  • Work with local municipalities to obtain required permits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and support a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level role; 1+ years’ experience in general construction, landscaping, restoration, or a trade is preferred.
  • Comfortable splitting time between office and field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;
    Adobe experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator; customer-service oriented.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and willing to learn.
