We’re looking for a results-driven Senior Estimator who thrives on numbers, precision, and winning profitable work. • Analyze bid documents and interpret civil construction plans
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop full project scopes
• Identify subcontractor needs, meet DBE goals, and flag constructability concerns
• Spot value engineering opportunities and manage pre-bid coordination with owners
• Build and submit complete bid packages and project schedules
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Some local travel required with occasional weekend availability

• Must-Haves:
• 4–7 years of civil construction estimating experience
• Hands-on work with highway, bridge, earthwork, or utility projects
• DOT experience, especially NCDOT, highly valued
• Proficiency with Heavy Bid or a comparable estimating platform
• Preferred Background:
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus

• Work for a proven heavy civil construction firm focused on transportation, bridges, highways, and large-scale civil projects
• Influence project selection and execution strategy
• Lead and mentor junior estimators, shaping the next generation of talent
