We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and communicating project schedules throughout both the preconstruction and construction phases of major commercial projects. Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreconstruction Phase Schedule Management
Collaborate with preconstruction managers, design teams, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive preconstruction schedules that include design, estimating, approvals, procurement, and related activities.
Develop and maintain detailed preconstruction schedules that align with the expectations of the owner, design team, and project leadership.
Coordinate schedule milestones and deliverables to support efficient project planning and execution.
Bids and ProcurementDevelop detailed construction schedules prior to bidding and communicate scheduling requirements to prospective subcontractors and suppliers.
Incorporate project schedules into bid manuals to ensure all bidders understand scheduling expectations and milestones.
Participate in and help lead pre-bid meetings to review schedule requirements and project sequencing.
Integrate permitting requirements, site phasing, authority approvals, procurement timelines, and other project constraints into overall project schedules.
Construction Schedule ManagementUtilize Primavera P6 to create and manage detailed CPM schedules in Gantt chart format, linking all project activities and milestones.
Manage project schedules throughout construction, accounting for procurement, approvals, construction activities, commissioning, and project closeout.
Collaborate with subcontractors after award to refine schedules and ensure alignment with project requirements and commitments.
Facilitate pull-planning sessions and Lean scheduling efforts that clearly identify daily, weekly, and monthly project goals and requirements.
Schedule Monitoring and MaintenanceMonitor the progress of submittals, shop drawings, procurement activities, and field progress to support schedule adherence.
Update project schedules regularly to reflect project progress, changes, delays, and recovery strategies.
Analyze schedule impacts and communicate potential risks or concerns proactively to project teams and leadership.
Assist project teams in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maintain project milestones.
Corporate Engagement and TrainingSupport company-wide scheduling initiatives and encourage ongoing development of scheduling knowledge and best practices.
Assist in training and mentoring project teams on scheduling processes, software, and project controls.
Lead or participate in internal scheduling and program enhancement training sessions as needed.
Qualifications / Skills and Knowledge Requirements5–8 years of experience as a Project Scheduler with a Commercial General Contractor/Construction Manager managing multiple large-scale commercial projects simultaneously; or equivalent experience as a Superintendent with a commercial contractor.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, ACC Autodesk Build, and Power BI

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, cost-loaded scheduling, Lean scheduling, and construction sequencing.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction disciplines, means, methods, and project delivery processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
