- Serve as a technical resource for construction administration and other fields.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittal reviews, ASIs, and IGCEs.
- Coordinate with other departments to respond to RFIs, submittals, IGCEs, and ASIs quickly.
- Facilitate departmental interactions between project DORs, design managers, QAQC, and cost estimating.
- Mentor other staff and offer feedback and support on skill improvement.
- Mentor other staff and offer advice on skill development and career progression.
- Attending OAC meetings and tracking construction.
- Conduct site inspections and write reports.
- Develop good relationships with staff, peers, clients, and partners by meeting and surpassing their needs.
- Project site safety requires compliance with construction and safety laws.
- Check all project documentation to guarantee construction compliance.
- Review contract documents for constructability and report design problems to the supervisor.
- Monitor contract papers and constructability and report design issues to other department managers for training.
- Ensure project site safety by following construction and safety laws.
- Challenge and motivate others to succeed and contribute.
- Seek professional growth and keep up with design trends and technologies.
- Help create department processes and training.
- Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architectural Degree preferred. - Work Experience:
Five or more years’ related experience in design or construction of healthcare, medical office building, commercial, municipal, federal, state and/or office buildings. - Experience with Veterans Affairs is advantageous.
- Licensure preferred or related certification required.
- Revit familiarity (open and review)
- AutoCAD (open and review)
- MS Office Suite
- Bluebeam Studio Review proficiency
This position will be in an open office work environment.
