Senior Estimator

Achuti LLC, an award‑winning design‑build and construction firm serving military and federal clients globally, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Estimator to join our team.

This position offers the opportunity to make an impact and grow within a rapidly expanding firm.

The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in developing accurate, competitive, and comprehensive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, including design‑build and federal contracts. This individual will lead estimating efforts, collaborate with project managers and stakeholders, and provide strategic insights that align with Achuti’s values and business objectives.

• Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to align estimates with client objectives.
• Lead pre‑construction activities, including risk assessments, scope reviews, and bid proposals.
• Partner with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to develop accurate estimates.
• Present cost analyses and value engineering options to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update a database of historical project data, pricing, and productivity metrics.
• Analyze market trends, labor rates, and material costs to ensure estimates remain competitive and accurate.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and provide innovative solutions during the estimating process.
• Develop and implement best practices for estimating workflows and processes.
• Stay informed of industry standards, federal regulations, and emerging construction technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
• 10+ years of construction estimating experience required, with a focus on design‑build and federal projects preferred.
• Experience with SATOC, MATOC, or MACC estimating preferred.
• Proficiency in cost estimating tools (e.g., RSMeans, 4
  
  Clicks, Pro Est, Plan Swift, Bluebeam) preferred.
• Familiarity with FAR and government contracting requirements is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear presentations and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Self‑motivated with a track record of driving projects to success.
• Familiarity with market trends, labor rates, material costs, and value engineering techniques.
