Construction Superintendent

The Fordy Group has partnered with a leading General Contractor in Raleigh, North Carolina, to recruit an experienced Superintendent to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong background in commercial construction who is looking to work on high-profile projects with a respected and financially stable contractor.

As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Management team.
• Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate project activities with all stakeholders.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to specification.
• Identify and resolve site-related challenges proactively.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and daily logs.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.

• 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Proven track record delivering commercial projects successfully.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site management.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex project activities.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with construction management software is preferred.
