Estimator / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. This role offers long-term career growth and the opportunity to manage a wide range of utility and site development projects. The position is primarily remote, with travel required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates and quantity takeoffs from paper and electronic plans.
• Estimate and manage site utility, water and sewer, storm drainage, and site grading projects.
• Oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
• Prepare bid packages, negotiate proposals, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, civil engineers, and general contractors to generate new business opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
• Proven experience estimating site grading, water and sewer, storm drainage, and underground utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction takeoffs, bidding, and cost estimating.
• Experience with electronic plan takeoff and estimating software (Bluebeam and similar tools preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 25% as required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
