• 1 year of specific experience in materials testing
• Must be willing to travel throughout North Carolina
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
• Nuclear Gauge / Troxler

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Construction Materials Testing Technician who is interested in joining a dynamic fast paced team with a client and project forward focus while advancing their career in the field of construction special inspections and materials testing. This individual will:

• Be actively engaged on construction sites and in-office, testing of construction materials in the field, in order to verify conformance to the applicable codes, project plans and specifications
• Travel throughout North Carolina to provide testing on construction materials
• Utilize a tablet and MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ideal candidate has a couple of the preferred certifications and a willingness to pursue additional with support from supervisor and administrative staff.

• NCDOT Certifications
• ICC Special Inspector Certifications (Concrete, Masonry, Soils, etc.)
• NICET Levels 1-3 (soil, asphalt, concrete)
