Construction Superintendent - Multifamily ground-up projects

We are working with an award‑winning multifamily construction company in Raleigh. They are looking to staff their upcoming ground‑up podium project (400+ units) with an experienced Superintendent.

About the role:

  • Develop and maintain a team culture on the project site.
  • Constructively communicate to all project team members while maintaining all appropriate documentation of conversations.
  • Assist PM with OAC meetings.
  • Effectively communicate with the PM any issues arising with cost implications or schedule delays.
  • Develop and implement a program to ensure the timely delivery of materials to meet the project timelines and requirements.
  • Act as a proficient scheduler, developing and maintaining a complete jobsite schedule encompassing all aspects of the jobsite. Communicate, upload to Procore, and distribute the schedule to the field team.
  • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings including a look‑ahead schedule review, safety, SWPPP, quality control, RFIs, submittals, coordination items, toolbox topics, etc.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent.
  • Must hold OSHA 30 HR (completed within 90 days of hire).
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 years of multi‑family construction supervisory experience.
  • Must have good knowledge of construction building codes.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
