Review work orders, delivered materials, project notes, and property photos before each build.
Prepare job sites and ensure required tools, safety equipment, and materials are available.
Oversee roofing crews and confirm compliance with safety requirements. Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet Think Roofing installation standards, including applicable IBHS FORTIFIED Roof requirements.
Maintain accurate project notes and detailed photo updates in company software.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, crew members, suppliers, and management.
Coordinate job-site cleanup, material returns, and inventory. Complete final property inspections and next-day cleanup checks when needed.
Physical DemandsComfortable working on roofs up to 2 stories high and steep pitches.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and climb ladders/stairways.
Requires considerable physical movement: climbing, lifting, balancing, bending, kneeling, and crawling.
Primarily outdoor construction sites with varying weather exposure.
Regular travel between job sites across Onslow, Carteret, Craven, and Jones counties.
Seasonal schedule intensity with extended hours during peak season, lighter winter workloads.
What We're Looking For:Roofing, construction, or residential exterior experience strongly preferred.
Previous crew leadership or job-site supervision experience preferred.
Working knowledge of roofing materials, installation methods, and job-site safety is a plus.
Comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, accessing roofs, and moving job-site materials and equipment.
Able to work early mornings, changing schedules, and longer hours on active build days.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to take extensive project photos.
Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling, documentation, and time tracking.
Able to identify problems, communicate them promptly, and follow through until they are resolved.
Professional, respectful, and courteous when working around homeowners and their property.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
Must be able to travel between job sites, suppliers, and company storage locations.
Preferred Capability:
Complete assigned roofing and exterior repairs safely and correctly.
- $50k-70k based on experience and capabilities.
