The Superintendentisresponsiblefortheoverallsupervisionoffieldinstallationfromstarttofinishforallprojects.

Theyshareresponsibilitywiththerestoftheprojectteamfortheon-time,satisfactorycompletionoftheprojectandforkeepingcostsatorunderbudget.

• Superviseallfieldstaff,coordinatingregularlywithgeneralcontractors,project managers,branchmanagers.
• Abilitytoleadandmentorfieldemployees.
• Attendweeklyjobschedulingmeetingstocoordinateandallocatetheproperamountofmanpowerperproject.
• Performjobchecksforallnewjobstoensuretheprojectissafeandreadyforworkpriortoinitiatingmanpower.
• Visitandreviewactivejobsweeklytoensuremanpower,production,andsafetyissufficienttokeeptheprojectwithinthetimelineandbudget.
• Scheduleandmanagemanpowerforallactivejobs,includingmonitoringandapprovingallweeklypayrollhours.
• Coordinateandscheduleallmaterialdeliveriestothejob.
• Orderallliftsandotherequipmentforactivejobsandtrainteammembersonhowtosafelyusethem.
• Updateprojectmanagersandbranchmanagerswithcompletionprogressregularly.
• Activelyparticipateintherecruitingandhiringporocessforallnewfieldteammembers.
• Performanynecessarytasksforspecialtyprojects
• Implementsandmanagesrequiredjob-sitesafetyprogramandconductsweekly“toolbox talks”.
• Completessiteaccidentreportsimmediately,completelyandaccurately.
• Ensuresthatpunchlistitemsandqualityissuesareaddressedandmanagedeffectivelytoexpeditecollectionofretainages.
• Bilingualabilitypreferred.
• Andotherdutiesasassignedbyyour Manager.

• 7-9years’experienceinconstruction.
• Experienceusingestimationandprojectmanagementsoftwarepreferred.
• Certificateingeneralconstructionpreferred.
• OSHA
  10and/or30-hourcertificationrequired.
• Forklift,scissor lift,boomlift,fallprotectioncertificationspreferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AEDcertificationpreferred.
  • ProficiencyinMSOffice.
  • Strong written/verbalcommunicationandpresentationskills.
  • Abilitytoadapttoshiftsinprioritiesandmaintainconfidentiality.
