CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR I
Full-Time Position | Raleigh, North Carolina
This position is based in Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance or reimbursement is not available.
Demolition & Asbestos Removal, Inc. (DARI) is seeking a motivated Construction Estimator I to join our Raleigh Division.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional with 1–2 years of construction or estimating experience who is ready to develop their skills and build a career in the specialized environmental remediation and demolition industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management
- 1–2 years of estimating, construction, engineering, or related industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, project management, and field teams
Bluebeam or other construction estimating software experience is a plus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with project cost estimates
- Review project scopes and bidding requirements
- Attend pre-bid meetings and project site walkthroughs
- Assist with subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Prepare and organize estimating documentation
- Assist in developing accurate and competitive project proposals
- Coordinate with project managers and field personnel throughout the estimating process
