  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, competitive bids, product warranties, project records, and final closeout materials.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication and provide timely, clear updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with University Project and Design Managers, designers, consultants, contractors, and internal Facilities teams throughout planning, design, and construction.
  • Provide concise project status, milestone, and issue updates during weekly leadership meetings.
  • Build strong working relationships with Grounds Leadership, Landscape Construction Services, Waste Reduction and Recycling, Grounds Planning, and other campus partners.
  • Participate in design reviews and evaluate project plans to ensure alignment with university standards and industry best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of landscape construction, plant and tree identification, hardscape construction, commercial irrigation systems, and stormwater control measures (SCMs).
  • Conduct project site inspections to verify construction meets approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and campus expectations.
  • Identify construction issues and coordinate solutions with project partners to maintain quality and project objectives.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including final inspections and walk-throughs, verification and filing of as-built drawings, and transition of completed projects to the Grounds Maintenance team.
