Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 (Possibly more if right fit)

A well-established, owner-led construction business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its residential division in Raleigh.

The company delivers high-end custom homes valued between $5M and $15M, working closely with discerning homeowners, architects, designers, and trusted trade partners. With all projects located locally, this opportunity offers challenging, high-quality work without extensive travel.

The successful candidate will contribute across a portfolio of approximately three to four custom-home projects, supported by an experienced and longstanding team. It is an excellent opportunity to learn from respected construction professionals while taking genuine ownership of complex residential work.

The Role

• Manage multiple luxury custom-home projects at different stages
• Coordinate closely with homeowners, architects, designers, superintendents, and subcontractors
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, and change orders
• Support projects from preconstruction and design development through completion
• Monitor costs, commitments, forecasts, and overall project performance
• Lead project meetings and provide clear, professional client communication
• Review drawings and specifications to identify risks and coordination issues
• Maintain the exceptionally high standards of quality expected in custom residential construction
• Build strong relationships with established subcontractors and suppliers
• Support inspections, commissioning, punch lists, and final handover

What We’re Looking For

• Project management experience within custom residential
• A strong understanding of luxury finishes, detailing, and quality expectations
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders
• The ability to manage several projects and competing priorities effectively
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-management skills
• Strong commercial judgment, organization, and attention to detail
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with experienced field teams
• Knowledge of the Raleigh construction market would be advantageous
• A construction-related degree is welcomed but not essential where supported by relevant experience
