* G/FORE is seeking a Men’s Associate Designer to join our Design Team in Raleigh! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate, innovative team leading the golf and active wear industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
*** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*** Create technical sketches with accurate construction callouts
* Assist with initial tech pack setup and ongoing maintenance
* Develop print pitch sheets with color and technique specifications
* Support special projects and assignments as needed
* Collaborate with Design Management to create boards, color cards, and decks
* Provide organizational support, including filing, scanning, and photocopying
* Review lab dips and submissions for accuracy
* Communicate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
* Attend fittings and partner with the technical team on garment adjustments
** COMPETENCIES
* ** Ability to generate fresh ideas and translate them into compelling designs
* Works effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
* Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Approaches challenges with resourcefulness and adaptability
* Strong understanding of design tools and garment construction
* Ensures accuracy and consistency in all aspects of design work
* Clear and professional in both verbal and written interactions
** DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or Digital Art
* 2+ years of experience in a related field or strong internship experience
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Basic knowledge of garment construction and fit
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
