The Parking Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a parking facility while delivering a service that exceeds customer expectations. Key duties include providing customer service, handling entry/exit transactions, and maintaining parking equipment in operational condition.
Responsibilities- Direct traffic to appropriate parking areas.
- Perform vehicle counts on location throughout shift to ensure parking does not overfill available spaces.
- Charge customers for parking as directed by the supervisor.
- Screen parking lots for permits.
- Supply exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
- Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to follow verbal/written directions
- Ability to show up to work on time and on the required days
Required Qualifications
- Dependable
- At least 18 years of age
