Overview
The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for assisting patients with insurance and billing questions and performs functions directly associated with a customer service call center including, but not limited to, taking payments, changing or updating insurance, updating patient demographics, and setting payment plans. Responsible for maintaining departmental goals associated with the call center, to include the requested average wait time and projected daily call volume.
This position requires an individual that is fluent, both orally and in the written form, in English and Spanish. Performs all duties in English or Spanish, as required by the clients and departmental needs. Performs simple translation tasks, and may require language interpretation at the basic or intermediate level.
