Architectural Designer – Full-Time | In-Office – Raleigh, NC
A dynamic and collaborative architectural firm is seeking a motivated Architectural Designer to join our growing Raleigh office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across a wide range of sectors—including commercial, retail, mixed‑use, hospitality, science & technology, and multi‑family residential—while working alongside a talented team dedicated to design excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the design and technical development of commercial and mixed‑use architectural projects.
- Prepare and assist with the production of construction documents for multiple project types.
- Develop creative, functional, and client‑focused design solutions aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination.
- Assist with project specifications, material detailing, and building envelope system design.
- Participate in construction administration, ensuring compliance with drawings, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in lab planning and equipment documentation for biology, chemistry, clean rooms, tissue culture labs, and vivariums (as applicable to project assignments).
- Support project scheduling, quality control, and adherence to budgets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design methodologies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling design presentations for clients and internal teams.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.
- 0–7 years of professional post‑graduate architectural experience (open to early‑career through intermediate‑level designers).
- Strong design sensibility paired with technical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Comfort producing construction documents across a variety of project types.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up required.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with mixed‑use, commercial, or large‑scale retail projects is a plus.
- Architectural License, LEED accreditation, and/or AIA membership are advantageous but not required.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $40.00/hr.
