Senior Architect

The East Group is seeking a skilled and collaborative Senior Architect to join our team in our Greenville, NC or
Raleigh, NC office. This full-time role is ideal for someone with 10+ years of experience who is passionate about thoughtful design, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a multidisciplinary environment.

As a Senior Architect at The East Group, you’ll lead project teams that impact communities across the region, with a focus on healthcare, industrial, and public sector projects. You’ll lead project teams, guide clients through complex design processes, and help mentor the next generation of architects. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to meaningful, community-focused work.

• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients
• Collaborate with clients to define goals, project constraints, and design direction
• Lead or oversee design solutions from concept through construction
• Prepare and oversee design presentations, construction documents, and specifications
• Ensure code compliance and coordinate with reviewing agencies
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and design teams
• Support business development through proposals and client engagement
• Provide construction administration support as needed
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration

• 10+ years of architectural design and project delivery experience
• Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited program
• Architectural license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain quickly)
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Revit is preferred
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous learning
