Our client is looking for an experienced Healthcare Planner to join their growing architectural team in Raleigh, NC. This individual will play a key role in leading healthcare projects from initial programming and conceptual design through construction administration while partnering with clients and multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare planning, a passion for design excellence, and the ability to deliver innovative, functional healthcare environments.
Responsibilities- Lead healthcare projects through all phases, including programming, conceptual design, construction documentation, administration, and project close‑out.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and firm leadership to develop innovative, code-compliant healthcare facilities.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, presenting design concepts, leading meetings, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining design quality, project schedules, and overall project success.
- Provide technical leadership by developing design solutions, guiding construction detailing, and ensuring projects align with healthcare industry best practices.
- 5+ years of dedicated healthcare design and planning experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven client‑facing experience, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Registered Architect (RA) with the ability to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.
- EDAC and/or LEED AP certification.
- Previous experience working on healthcare projects within the local market.
