A growing, design-focused multidisciplinary practice is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join its Raleigh, NC team. This is an opportunity for a talented professional to take a leading role on a diverse range of landscape architecture projects while contributing to the continued growth and development of the studio.
The ideal candidate will bring strong design skills, technical knowledge, project experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to landscape architecture projects from concept through construction documentation and implementation.
- Develop creative, thoughtful, and technically sound landscape design solutions.
- Prepare and review plans, details, specifications, presentations, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, planners, and other consultants.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, site visits, and project coordination.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and landscape architects.
- Assist with project management, scheduling, budgets, and overall project delivery.
- Contribute to business development, client relationships, and the growth of the landscape architecture practice.
- Help maintain design quality and technical standards across projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- Registered Landscape Architect (RLA/PLA) preferred or required.
- Strong design, documentation, and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Sketch Up, Lumion, Land F/X, or similar software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative studio environment.
- Experience working across sectors such as commercial, residential, mixed-use, hospitality, institutional, or public realm projects is beneficial.
