Architectural Designer II - Our firm combines intelligent design with powerful multidisciplinary solutions for federal, healthcare, education, and commercial clients. As an Architectural Designer II, you will help turn design intent into coordinated, buildable documents while collaborating with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.

Performance Objectives

  • Deliver coordinated Revit models and construction documents that minimize revisions and support efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate architecture with MEP, interiors, fire protection, and external consultants to identify and resolve conflicts before bidding and construction.
  • Produce existing-conditions surveys, code analyses, and presentation graphics that support project execution and client presentations.
  • Respond to RFIs, submittals, and construction-related questions in a timely manner to keep field teams productive and clients informed.
  • Apply IBC, ADA, FGI, and applicable agency standards to support successful submissions to authorities having jurisdiction and federal reviewers.
  • Mentor junior staff on documentation standards, Revit workflows, and best practices to improve team consistency and production quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 3–5 years of experience producing commercial, healthcare, institutional, or similar construction documents.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, with experience developing coordinated construction documents.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and healthcare, federal, or institutional design guidelines.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys, develop accurate as-built documentation, and translate field conditions into constructible documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients.
