* Description

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer I to support a growing portfolio of internally facing sales and customer success products within an innovation-focused organization. This role will focus on designing experiences that improve how commercial teams manage customer relationships, support renewals, and drive revenue.

The designer will be dedicated to a suite of strategic internal platforms, including:

+ An AI-powered sales assistant that enables account teams to quickly access customer data, renewal information, pricing insights, account history, customer profiles, and account health metrics through a conversational interface and integrated user experience.

+ A Customer Success Engagement Platform designed to help Customer Success Managers have more meaningful and proactive conversations with customers throughout the customer lifecycle. The solution is continuing to expand across additional markets and user groups.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead UX design efforts from concept through production for internal sales and customer success products.

+ Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs.

+ Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams throughout the development lifecycle.

+ Translate complex business requirements and data into intuitive user experiences.

+ Facilitate and participate in collaborative product workshops, sprint sessions, and design reviews.

+ Validate concepts through user feedback and research activities.

+ Present design recommendations and rationale to stakeholders and leadership.

+ Advocate for UX best practices while balancing business needs, technical constraints, and user goals.

+ Support ongoing product evolution through continuous iteration and pilot programs.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Proven experience designing enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or internal productivity applications.

+ Strong portfolio demonstrating complex workflow design and data-rich user experiences.

+ Experience supporting AI-driven products, chat-based interfaces, or intelligent recommendation systems.

+ Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.

+ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

+ Experience collaborating with UX Researchers and applying research findings to design decisions.

+ Familiarity with design systems and scalable design frameworks.

+ Experience in sales operations, CRM, customer success, revenue operations, or commercial technology environments is highly preferred.

+ Exposure to cloud-based design platforms, AI-assisted design tools, or AI-supported design workflows is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
