About the Role
Mechanical Designer creating detailed technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and managing accurate documentation and revisions to support project execution.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do (Essential Functions):
- Responsible for creating manufacturing drawings that will accurately dimension, notify spatial relationships, and contain complete bills of materials.
- Create drawings from complete engineering department sketches, equipment lists, kickoff meetings, and past project knowledge/drawings.
- Work with the production floor to develop accurate depictions of equipment and material.
- Utilize the CAD commands efficiently and productively.
- Understand the specifications set forth within the CAD software.
- Stay organized and document redlines, revisions, and drawing changes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Support other designers and engineers to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.

- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.

What You Bring (Skills, Abilities, Experience):
- An associate degree in computer-aided Drafting, Applied Science, or related technical education is preferred.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing drafting/design environment
- Competency and profound experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas environments is strongly preferred.
