395 Bed Hospital BC Critical care, prefer candidates with 2 plus years of experience

Semi - closed ICU with 50 critical care beds Supported by a team of 7 seasoned APP's . EMR - Epic Trational Critical care procedures required

Start up program so patient volume is not known

Dedicated support from Hospitalist team and Nocturnist on staff. Back up includes Neuro Hospitalist, Geriatric service, Pediatric Hospitalist, telehealth. Sub-specialties include GI, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Neurology, CT surgery (TAVR). EP etc. Looking to have Dr's start in Oct 2018

Compensation and Benefits Annual salary up to $363,000, based on experience. Quality bonus up to 10%. Sign on bonus, loan repayment option. Relocation allowance up to $10,000. Reimbursement for CME and other professional expenses. Malpractice insurance including tail coverage. Transitioning from an open to a closed ICU with 50 critical care beds + telehealth monitoring of our 10 bed ICU at a satellite campus. Recently renovated, state-of-the-art ICU. Physician will be in house during daytime hours and provide clinical care exclusively in the medical ICU (including step-down units). Physician will lead code team. Conducive block scheduling with 7-on/7-off model that promotes work-family balance.

Seven seasoned, specially trained advanced practice providers support physicians in service provision.
