Description
Acute Care Surgery Opportunity with UNC Rex in Raleigh, NCNorth Carolina Surgery at Raleigh is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon to join their practice. This is a full-time position within a well-established, community-focused surgical practice providing high-quality care to adult patients across a broad range of general surgical needs.

Position Highlights
- Full-time, outpatient/inpatient acute care surgery role
- Rotating 12hr Shifts, 14 shifts per month
- Work with a respected team
- Access to the EPIC electronic medical record system

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
- Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Experience preferred with interest in acute care procedures

- Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

- Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Should be able to communicate proficiently in English. - REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
