Spanish Teachers at Chesterbrook Academy have the unique opportunity to implement our balanced, STEAM-focused curriculum while delivering engaging, standards-aligned Spanish language instruction. As an Elementary Spanish Teacher, you will build foundational Spanish language proficiency through immersive instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will foster curiosity about global cultures while maintaining high academic expectations and providing enthusiastic support to help each student thrive.

Develop engaging Spanish language curriculum and classroom resources aligned with elementary learning standards
Create a classroom environment that supports immersive language acquisition and student-centered learning
Integrate Spanish instruction with STEAM themes and cross-curricular connections
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and varying language proficiency levels
Use formative and summative assessments to measure student growth and guide instruction
Collaborate with grade-level teams and school leadership to enhance the overall student experience
Communicate regularly and effectively with parents to support student achievement and language development
Incorporate culturally responsive teaching practices to promote inclusion and global awareness

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Spanish, World Languages, or a related field
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal proficiency)
Elementary teaching experience preferred
Knowledge of language acquisition strategies and differentiated instruction
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
Strong communication skills and commitment to family engagement
