• Major responsibility of the position is to conduct study course, maintain structure and account for students of assigned class during teacher’s absence.
• Report for class assignment on short notice.
• Execute lesson as outlined by division administration or absent faculty member.
• Adhere to normal school day schedule and responsibilities, including after-school activities as assigned.
• Maintain classroom order.
• Contact Division Head, administration team leader or faculty member for assistance with emergencies or problems beyond scope of the position.
• Provide information about children and class activities to returning faculty member.
• Attend training, when scheduled.

• Must have excellent communication skills; exercise good judgment when dealing with students of all ages; ability to set good example for students; comply with school standards as they relate to faculty conduct.
• Able to maintain classroom structure; take direction and follow lesson plan.
• Willingness to cooperate with other teachers to accomplish objectives of the position.
• Flexibility in work schedule, report on short notice; dependable.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position.
• Four-year degree and/or previous experience in teaching, corporate training or childcare preferred but not required.
