Job Overview
Chandra Technologies, Inc. is seeking an EXPERT Epic Principal Trainer to manage the Patient Access training plan for the implementation of an EHR project for the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities.
RequirementsCandidate must be certified in the following Epic application modules:
- Grand Central Curriculum Certification
- Prelude Curriculum Certification
- Cadence Curriculum Certification
- TED

300 Training Environment Build Certification
- Develop role-based training content independently or with team members using Microsoft Office and other software.
- Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials.
- Maintain policy and procedure documentation.
- Incorporate feedback from others into training and training administration procedures.
- Learn new content and consult with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer participant questions.
- Assist with building and testing training environments (MST environments) and provide support and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with other trainers by co‑facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises.
- Prepare training lessons, print materials, and set up the training room prior to sessions.
- Present information verbally and in writing in a clear, easy‑to‑understand manner.
- Follow up with trainees outside the classroom to offer additional support.
- Serve as an expert educator to state staff.
- Train and credential additional classroom trainers as needed (train‑the‑trainer).
- Train staff and end users on technical topics as needed.
- Manage assignments by prioritizing tasks and creating/adhere to timelines.
- Experience as an Epic-certified Principal Trainer.
- PT4 – certified as Principal Trainer for Cadence Enterprise Scheduling, Prelude Registration, and Grand Central Patient Flow with Transfer Center.
- Ability to work without close supervision, taking ownership of activities, and ensuring training sessions and materials meet Epic’s standards.
- Skill and experience in adult education, especially for health information technology or healthcare revenue cycle applications.
- Demonstrating flexibility with respect to required changes in training content and delivery methods.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and timely.
- Ability to learn new content and leverage that knowledge to develop strong training programs.
- Develop presentations and present in a clear and interesting manner, commanding audience attention and handling questions/challenges.
- Ability to read text, identify major points, make inferences, and draw conclusions that accurately reflect the material.
- Certified in developing the Epic training environments.
