Epic Patient Access Principal Trainer
Remote (Raleigh/Durham, NC)
We are seeking an experienced Epic-certified Principal Trainer – Patient Access to support a large-scale EHR implementation initiative within a state healthcare environment. This role will lead the development and execution of the Patient Access training strategy and ensure training materials and environments meet Epic standards.
Required Epic Certifications- Grand Central Curriculum Certification
- Prelude Curriculum Certification
- Cadence Curriculum Certification
- TED
105 – Training Wheels Behind the Scenes - TED
300 – Training Environment Build Certification
- Develop and manage comprehensive, role-based training programs
- Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials and documentation
- Maintain policy and procedure documentation
- Incorporate feedback into training materials and processes
- Build, test, and troubleshoot MST training environments
- Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams
- Deliver classroom and virtual training sessions
- Provide post-training support to end users
- Lead train-the-trainer initiatives
- Train and credential additional classroom trainers
- Present complex technical topics clearly and effectively
- Prioritize assignments and adhere to project timelines
- 5+ years of experience as an Epic-certified Principal Trainer
- Certified in Cadence Enterprise Scheduling, Prelude Registration, and Grand Central Patient Flow (Transfer Center preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in adult education (health IT or revenue cycle preferred)
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to manage timelines and deliver high-quality training materials
- Ability to quickly learn new content and translate it into effective training programs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex material
- 3+ years of experience building Epic training environments
