The Department of Applied Engineering Technology is accepting applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025, or spring 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach a variety of courses in the following areas:
Applied Engineering Technology, Automotive Engineering Technology, Computer Graphics Technology, and Technology Management. The maximum teaching load is four courses per semester.
- Teach in‑person or online courses.
- Participate in teaching training.
- Collect and assess student learning data.
- Attend department faculty and staff meetings.
- Submit teaching materials as part of semester review.
- Must hold a Master’s degree in a related engineering or technology field at the time of application.
- Minimum of one year teaching experience at the University or Community College level and related industrial experience preferred.
This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
