Position Title
Non‑Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part‑time) – Accounting Department, Poole College of Management, NC State University.
Job SummaryYou will teach 1‑3 courses in BSA, MAC, and/or MBA programs covering areas such as accounting information systems, auditing, business/data analytics, business law, financial accounting, intermediate accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and not‑for‑profit/government accounting. The role is one‑semester or one‑year with possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver course content for the assigned courses.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and collaborate with faculty and staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings and faculty development activities.
- Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field; if no master’s, a bachelor’s degree plus significant professional and teaching experience.
- At least five years of professional or teaching experience related to the course content.
- Professional certification such as CPA preferred.
- Ability to teach in more than one area and experience delivering online courses.
- Valid NC Driver’s License.
