Your role is to ensure our "3 Promises" are delivered consistently to every student in your cohort while equipping our Guides to do the same.

You will combine expert coaching capabilities with dynamic facilitation skills, transforming workshops, metrics-focused motivational sessions, and precise feedback into powerful development experiences. • Equipping and developing Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops with exceptional quality
• Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies
• Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that drives higher student engagement and outcomes
• Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced mentorship and motivational techniques

• Creating lesson plans – Guides support students working through adaptive technology; you concentrate on training them to become outstanding motivators
• Accepting mediocrity – when our benchmark is 100% mastery, your responsibility is to uphold that standard
• Running dull training sessions – you will develop Guides through dynamic, interactive, high-impact learning experiences

Develop Guides and students to ensure every learner in your cohort achieves three outcomes: genuine enthusiasm for school, learning at 2× the standard rate, and proficiency in essential life skills. Standards are non-negotiable.

• Currently residing in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at one of the Alpha campuses (Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related areas.
• Proven track record of designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
• Established leadership and mentorship capabilities with a history of building, managing, and inspiring high-performance teams.
• Background working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
• Competence in data analysis and leveraging performance metrics to inform decisions and foster ongoing improvement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
