Position SummarySelected candidate will facilitate both high and low element challenge course and team building programs for the Carolina Adventures Challenge Course in Chapel Hill, NC. The candidate will supervise and mentor co‑facilitators during programs and staff trainings. Programs run weekdays, weekends and some evenings, throughout the school year and summer. Applicants must be comfortable working with all age groups, leading group activities, and working at heights.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Degrees must be from accredited institutions.
Management Preferences- Experience facilitating challenge course and team building programs
- Experience planning, selecting games, activities, team challenges or constructed “low course” elements
- Experience supervising co‑facilitators in a challenge course or team building setting
- Working knowledge of group dynamics and team development
- Ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and Community First Aid certifications upon hiring
Applicants must be able to work outdoors and at heights up to 45 feet. Duties are performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
