Position: Adjunct, Mass Communication/New Media Communication

Overview

Adjunct professor positions in Mass Communication/New Media Communication. Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners.

The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching. Broward College places special importance on helping underprepared students achieve academic success.

Responsibilities

All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours. All schedules include teaching at other campuses and upper‑division courses.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Communication, Mass Communication, or PR/Advertising; or a Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in one of those fields
  • Ph.D. in Communication preferred

Part time. Position Number: P0071801. Department:
South Academics Humanities. Salary Range: $2,181 – $2,386.02 per hour (commensurate with education and experience).
