Associate Director, Student Conduct
The position of Associate Director of Student Conduct is designed to support safety measures on campus by addressing student behavior which may violate the Code of Student Conduct. This position will support this effort as the number of reports of inappropriate behavior continue to rise in the student community.

Job Duties
- The position includes:
- Hearing Officer duties (40%):
Meet with students, investigate alleged misconduct, determine responsibility and impose sanctions upon students consistent with the Code of Student Conduct and Student Discipline Procedures. - Maxient Database Administration duties (20%):
Provide university-wide management of Maxient, the conduct management system. - University Housing Liaison duties (20%):
Provide training, development, and ongoing support of the University Housing professional and graduate staff regarding the conduct process. - Training & Operations duties (20%):
Facilitate conduct training for new University Police and other campus partners. Manage the OSC website and develop content for monthly updates.
Other Responsibilities
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs of the organization and evolving priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum
Education and Experience:
Required Master's Degree in higher education, counseling, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of professional experience serving as a hearing officer for student conduct cases (not including graduate experience) with a preference for 5 years of professional experience. Prior experience working with the Maxient Software database, with a preference for experience as a level 5 user. Preference for applicants having prior experience with Housing or Residential Life.
Other
Required Qualifications:
Experience reviewing, managing, and maintaining confidential student conduct records. Proficiency with Maxient or similar student conduct management systems. Strong ethical judgment and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of FERPA and other relevant privacy regulations. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with campus departments and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and facilitate discussions on student conduct policies and related topics for student groups and campus partners.
